(1) If someone damages or defaces ancient monuments or archaeological objects of private ownership in any way, Khoma Archeology Department can take them for Panchakirte price. The concerned person may protect such ancient monuments or antiquities in writing before the Department of Archeology as prescribed by the Department of Archaeology. If the monuments or antiquities are not protected, the Department of Archeology can take those ancient monuments or antiquities free of charge and keep them under their control.
